Met up with David Gold, Roger Hill and Allister Chapman for a storm chase between the tours. The three of chased in the SLT van. David and I thought the best vertical windshear and CAPE would be across south central OK. Roger wanted to go after a supercell southwest of OKC and we were about to go north after this storm until we saw a nice storm developing 20 miles west of Springer, OK. We headed back south and pulled off of I-35 to see a nice rotating wall cloud develop west of Springer. 15 minutes later a nice tornado touched down and lasted for 10 minutes. The new updraft occluded right over us and we followed it northeast for a while but it never looked good and the storm weakened. Then we saw a new storm go up southwest of Ardmore, so we blasted south of Ardmore and headed a few miles west of Marietta, OK. We saw 3 weak tornadoes develop with this storm as it moves slowly to the east southeast. It eventually became an HP storm and we left it for a nice LP storm near Gainesville, TX before sunset.
Supercells: 3
Tornadoes; 4
Chased with David Gold, Roger Hill and Allister Chapman.

Drove up the south of Minneapolis and was about to chase a storm that was developing just to our northeast but we thought this storm would move into a densely forested area of WI. However. there was plenty of open space and we missed out on a nice tornado near Siren, WI. We headed south and played a line of HP storms.
Supercell: 1
Tornado: 0
Chased with David Gold on Tour 4 of SLT.

We intercepted a nice supercell northwest of DIA. It had good structure and may have had a land spout tornado which at the time looked more like a gustnado to us, so we did not count this as a tornado. Though, I think it was counted as a tornado in storm data.
Supercell: 1
Tornado: 0
Chased with David Gold on Tour 4 of SLT.

We set out to play storms that would develop across northeast MT and northwest ND. We saw a nice storm going up in southeast Saskatchewan and crossed the Canadian border to chase. We got up to the base of the supercell and noticed that it had a rapidly rotating wall cloud. A funnel went over half way to the ground but we could not see any dirt swirls or debris under the funnel as the storm right moved southeast into southwest Manitoba. The sun was setting and the storm began to look more HP. We crossed south of the border only minutes before it closed at 10 PM. We tried to play this storm as it moved into northern ND. However, it was dark and we decided to call off this chase.
Supercell: 1
Tornado: 0
Chased with David Gold and SLT’s tour 4.
